Wir haben uns für die heutige Folge gedacht, wir erzählen mal ein bisschen etwas über unsere deutschen Lieblingsfilme, weil ich bekomme die Frage immer wieder, welche Filme kann man auf Deutsch gucken, welche Serien kann man auf Deutsch gucken, weil na ja, ihr wisst es, es ist einfach ein super Hilfsmittel, um Deutsch zu lernen und nebenbei einfach Spaß zu haben. For today’s episode, we thought we’d tell you a bit about our favorite German films, because I keep getting asked which films you can watch in German, which series you can watch in German, because well, you know, it’s just a great tool for learning German and having fun at the same time.
Ja und wir haben glaube ich beide schon viele deutsche Filme gesehen, oder? Yes, and I think we’ve both seen a lot of German films, haven’t we?

Nee, bleibt nicht aus und man muss aber auch da so ein bisschen kritisch anmerken, die deutsche Filmlandschaft ist überschaubar, was gute Filme angeht, oder? Also, ich muss auch ehrlich sagen, als wir uns überlegt haben, dass wir über das Thema sprechen und ich dann mir so ein paar Filme im Kopf ein paar Filme durchgegangen bin, habe ich so gedacht, das ist gar nicht mal so einfach.Yes, totally. I also have to be honest and say that when we were thinking about talking about this topic and I was going through a few films in my head, I thought to myself, that’s not that easy.

Weil, ja, wie du sagst, die die die Filmlandschaft im Deutschen ist tatsächlich überschaubar, was so wirklich gute, hochwertige Filme angeht. Because, yes, as you say, the German film landscape is actually manageable when it comes to really good, high-quality films.
Mhm. Also, es ist nicht Hollywood, aber wir haben trotzdem ein paar Klassiker dabei, ein paar richtig gute Filme. Mhm. So, it’s not Hollywood, but we still have a few classics, some really good films.
Es gibt auch ein paar richtig gute Schauspieler, darüber reden wir heute. There are also some really good actors, we’re talking about them today.
Und ja, wir werden über unsere jeweiligen Lieblingsfilme reden und die könnt ihr euch dann auch ganz genüsslich anschauen vor dem Fernseher und ja, damit auch ein bisschen Deutsch lernen. Bevor es losgeht, der kleine Hinweis wie immer, ihr bekommt zu dieser Episode, wie auch zu allen anderen ein zweisprachiges Transkript auf Deutsch und Englisch, was euch enorm dabei hilft, euer Hörverständnis zu verbessern, wenn ihr nebenbei auch mitlesen könnt und was euch auch eine große Zeitersparnis bringt, weil ihr braucht nicht jedes einzelne Wort übersetzen, vorausgesetzt, ihr könnt auch Englisch sprechen, auf die meisten von euch trifft das zu, das weiß ich und dann seht ihr immer schon jeweils die Übersetzung und das hilft enorm, dass man nicht jedes Wort, das man nicht versteht, direkt im Übersetzer suchen muss. Dazu gibt es auch weitere Übungen, mit denen ihr dann das gelernte so ein bisschen verfestigen könnt und ganz wichtig eine Wortschatzliste mit dem wirklich relevanten Wortschatz, den wir hier nutzen. Also wir werden selten Wörter sagen, die man so gar nicht nutzt und wir werden ganz häufig, ja, so wie wir im Alltag eben auch sprechen, reden, das heißt, guckt euch wirklich diese Liste einfach mal vorher an und dann werdet ihr merken, dass das Hören deutlich einfacher ist und ihr schon beim Hören euren Wortschatz deutlich schneller verfestigen könnt und das Ganze den ganzen Wortschatz einfach deutlich besser verinnerlicht. So we will rarely say words that are not used at all and we will very often speak, well, the way we speak in everyday life, which means you should really just look at this list beforehand and then you will notice that listening is much easier and you can consolidate your vocabulary much faster while listening and internalize the whole vocabulary much better.
