Wir reden heute über das Thema Cannabis in Deutschland. Und warum tun wir das? Weil ungefähr vor zwei Jahren, also am 1. April 2024, eine Teillegalisierung in Deutschland in Kraft getreten ist. Today we are talking about the topic of cannabis in Germany. And why are we doing that? Because about two years ago, on April 1st, 2024, a partial legalization came into force in Germany.
Das heißt, Cannabis, der Konsum und der Besitz, der Anbau, all das wurde ja in Teilen legalisiert mit einigen Auflagen und einigen Einschränkungen. That means cannabis, consumption and possession, cultivation, all of that was partially legalized with some requirements and some restrictions.
Genau, und wir wollen uns einfach mal, wir haben uns einfach mal vorgenommen, so ein kleines Resümee zu ziehen und zu schauen, was ist seitdem passiert, wie hat sich vielleicht die Wahrnehmung und auch die Gesellschaft verändert?Exactly, and we just wanted to, we just decided to draw a small conclusion and see what has happened since then, how the perception and also society might have changed?
Laufen jetzt alle Leute hier nur noch bekifft rum in Deutschland? Are all people here just running around high in Germany now?
Ganz klar, ja! Clearly, yes!
Ja, das ist auch meine Wahrnehmung. Nein, definitiv nicht. Das können wir schon mal vorwegnehmen. Aber trotzdem lohnt sich ein kleiner Blick darauf, auf diese ganze Gemengelage. Yes, that’s my perception too. No, definitely not. We can anticipate that. But still, it’s worth taking a quick look at this whole complex situation.

Also was dürfen wir eigentlich? Ist dir das klar, was darf man in Deutschland mittlerweile? So what are we actually allowed to do? Is it clear to you what is allowed in Germany by now?
Na ja, das ist tatsächlich so ein bisschen, selbst für mich, ich muss da immer wieder noch mal nachgucken bzw. nachlesen, was darf ich denn jetzt? Well, that’s actually a bit, even for me, I have to keep checking or reading up again, what am I allowed to do now?
Oder nicht ich per se, aber was darf man jetzt tatsächlich in Deutschland? Und ich muss ehrlich sagen, ich seh noch nicht so richtig durch. Or not me per se, but what is one actually allowed to do now in Germany? And I have to say honestly, I don’t really see through it yet.
Darf ich’s besitzen, konsumieren? Ich glaube, handeln darf ich nicht damit. Und ja… Am I allowed to possess it, consume it? I believe I’m not allowed to trade with it. And yes…
Da bist du eigentlich schon auf einem ganz guten Weg, ja. Also bisschen oberflächlich, aber das können wir noch ein bisschen konkretisieren. You’re actually already on a pretty good path there, yes. A bit superficial, but we can specify that a bit more.
Also so ganz… Ich glaube, man findet kaum jemanden, der einem das so hundertprozentig erklären kann, weil das ja auch gesetzlich sich alles so in einigen Grauzonen bewegt. So entirely… I think you can hardly find anyone who can explain it to you 100 percent, because legally it all moves in some gray areas.
Man muss ja auch sagen, dass das EU-Recht da ja auch gewisse Grenzen setzt. One must also say that EU law also sets certain limits there.
Und deswegen ist es eben für ein Land in der EU nicht ganz so einfach, jetzt zu sagen: „Wir legalisieren das Ganze jetzt.“And that’s why it’s not that easy for a country in the EU to just say: „We are legalizing the whole thing now.“
Grundsätzlich ist es in Deutschland so: Der Besitz ist erlaubt in einem gewissen Rahmen. Basically, in Germany, it is like this: Possession is allowed within a certain framework.
Also man darf… Ein Erwachsener darf bis zu 25 Gramm getrocknetes Cannabis in der Öffentlichkeit mit sich führen und zu Hause irgendwie bis zu 50 Gramm besitzen. So one is allowed… An adult may carry up to 25 grams of dried cannabis in public and somehow possess up to 50 grams at home.
Wobei ich mich dann auch gefragt habe: Okay, darf ich jetzt… Also sobald ich die Haustür verlasse, muss ich meine 25 Gramm… Whereby I then also asked myself: Okay, am I allowed now… So as soon as I leave the front door, do I have to my 25 grams…
Muss ich eine Hälfte dieser 50 Gramm zu Hause lassen und die andere Hälfte darf ich mitnehmen? Also ja, so ganz… Do I have to leave one half of these 50 grams at home and I’m allowed to take the other half with me? So yes, so entirely…
Ja, also da ist dann so ein bisschen auch so die Frage: Welchen Sinn hat das dann in dem Moment? Yes, so there’s then also a bit of the question: What sense does it make in that moment?
Also warum darf ich jetzt nur die eine Hälfte quasi mitnehmen und warum soll der Rest zu Hause bleiben? Was macht das im Endeffekt für einen Unterschied? So irgendwie. So why am I now only allowed to take one half, so to speak, and why should the rest stay at home? What difference does that make in the end? Somehow.
Ja, gut. Wir sind vielleicht nicht hier heute, um das Ganze zu hinterfragen. Na ja, vielleicht schon. Wir gucken mal, was am Ende dabei rumkommt. Yes, well. Maybe we aren’t here today to question the whole thing. Well, maybe we are. We’ll see what comes out of it in the end.
Genau, aber das ist auf jeden Fall eine Regelung. Ansonsten darf man Cannabis auch privat anbauen, bis zu drei weibliche Pflanzen. Exactly, but that is definitely a regulation. Otherwise, one is also allowed to grow cannabis privately, up to three female plants.
