Wir reden heute über Deutschland und darüber, dass Deutschland trauriger Spitzenreiter ist. Today we are talking about Germany and the fact that Germany is a sad frontrunner.
Trauriger deshalb, weil es hier nicht um Fußball oder irgendeine Sache in der man gerne Spitzenreiter ist, also auf Position eins, sondern ja, es geht um das Thema Müll. Ja, wir wollen ein bisschen darüber reden warum das so ist, wir wollen vor allem über die Müllproblematik im Allgemeinen ein bisschen sprechen, was man auch tun kann um ja, seinen eigenen Müll oder seinen eigenen wie sagt man Plastikverbrauch einzuschränken. Erstmal die Frage an dich Amelie, wie ja, wie ist denn dein Plastikverbrauch so mal ganz allgemein gesprochen. First of all, the question for you Amelie, how, yes, how is your plastic consumption, generally speaking.
Bist du jemand der viel Plastikmüll produziert? Are you someone who produces a lot of plastic waste?
Ich versuch’s tatsächlich zu vermeiden oder ich versuche es sehr doll einzuschränken, aber ich merke selber, dass es mir einfach in vielen Punkten nicht so gelingt wie ich es gerne hätte und dass ich dann doch noch mehr Plastikmüll produziere bzw. dann hier… I actually try to avoid it or I try to limit it very much, but I notice myself that in many points I just don’t succeed as I would like to and that I then produce even more plastic waste or rather then here…
ich merke es ja an den Mülltüten, die dann irgendwann voll sind, dass es dann doch noch leider mehr ist als ich gerne würde. So. Ja. Ja. I notice it by the trash bags that are full at some point, that it is unfortunately still more than I would like. So. Yes. Yes.
Geht mir geht mir ganz ähnlich. It’s very similar for me.
Ich hatte mir auch mal vorgenommen das deutlich einzuschränken und hab dann nur noch versucht unverpackte Produkte zu kaufen und so. I also once planned to limit that significantly and then only tried to buy unpackaged products and so on.
Es gibt ja in allen größeren Städten so diverse Unverpackt-Läden und so weiter, ne. There are various zero-waste stores and so on in all larger cities, right.
Da kann man ja alles was man so braucht eben ohne Verpackungsmüll, Plastikmüll bekommen. You can get everything you need there without packaging waste, plastic waste.
Allerdings ist das natürlich auch eine finanzielle Frage dann, ne, wenn man sowas… However, that is of course also a financial question then, right, when you…
Voll. Das merkt man schon finde ich auch. Totally. I think you can notice that too.
Also das hatte ich nämlich auch mal so ein bisschen probiert irgendwie mehr auf diese ja eben in so Unverpackt-Läden zu gehen und so und da wirklich zu gucken, dass ich den Plastikmüll komplett reduzieren kann, aber das ist echt… das geht richtig noch mal anders ins Geld. So I had also tried that a bit, somehow going more to these, yes, exactly, to such zero-waste stores and so on and really seeing that I can completely reduce plastic waste, but that’s really… that really costs a lot more money.
