#166 – Ostern – Das sinnloseste Fest Deutschlands?

Es sind nur noch wenige Tage bis Ostersonntag und ja, Ostersonntag bzw. Ostern generell ist ja eigentlich im Ursprung, im Kern eine relativ deutsche Tradition. We’re back and we’re just before Easter. There are only a few days left until Easter Sunday and yes, Easter Sunday or Easter in general is actually in its origin, at its core a relatively German tradition. Also nicht das Osterfest generell, sondern die Art und Weise, wie in vielen Teilen der Welt Ostern heutzutage zelebriert wird. Mit dem Osterhasen und so weiter, ne? Wusstest du das? Not the Easter festival in general, but the way Easter is celebrated in many parts of the world today. With the Easter Bunny and so on, right? Did you know that? Jein, also ich war mir nicht hundertprozentig sicher, aber es war so irgendwie, hatte ich das schon so ein bisschen in meinem Kopf verankert tatsächlich. Ja. Yes and no, so I wasn’t a hundred percent sure, but it was somehow, I had already anchored it a bit in my head actually. Yes. Also es gibt tatsächlich sehr viele Verbindungen in den deutschen Kulturraum, vom Osterhasen bis hin zu dem zum Brauch der Ostereier, bis hin zum Verstecken der Ostereier. So there are actually many connections to the German cultural area, from the Easter Bunny to the custom of Easter eggs, to the hiding of Easter eggs. Da gibt’s tatsächlich einige Verbindungen und das werden wir uns heute mal genauer anschauen. Wir werden wirklich auch erörtern, was es mit diesem Hasen auf sich hat. Das macht vielleicht auf den ersten Blick gar keinen Sinn. There are actually some connections and we’re going to take a closer look at those today. We will also really discuss what it’s all about with this bunny. It might not make any sense at first glance. Nee. No. Und trotzdem ist er da und hat die Welt erobert, dieser Hase. Und ja, wir fragen nach dem Warum und ja, haben natürlich wie immer den Bezug zu Deutschland drin. And yet he is there and has conquered the world, this bunny. And yes, we ask why and yes, of course, as always, we have the reference to Germany in there. Genau, auf jeden Fall. Also ja, und im Endeffekt, wer stellt sich nicht die Frage: „Was soll das eigentlich mit dem Hasen?“, ne? Also ganz ehrlich, was soll das mit dem Hasen und den Eiern und irgendwie macht das doch alles gar keinen Sinn.Exactly, definitely. So yes, and in the end, who doesn’t ask themselves: „What is it actually with the bunny?“, right? So honestly, what’s with the bunny and the eggs and somehow it all makes no sense. Eigentlich macht das gar keinen Sinn, nein. Aber das werden wir heute alles aufklären. You know the feeling, you often have the problem in German conversations that you can’t think of a word, that you have a short pause for thought, that you don’t know how to continue speaking, that you have to use paraphrases and so on. Und diese 30-Tage-Challenge soll euch dabei helfen, genau diese Lücken einfach zu schließen, so dass ihr wirklich weiterreden könnt, einfach dass ihr fließend bleibt und dass ihr wirklich auch präzise die Sprache nutzen könnt.
